WHY I AM RUNNING FOR CITY COUNCIL:

I decided to seek re-election  because I realize that our wonderful city has seen the benefit of a steady, principled and dedicated City Council which has carefully considered policies and procedures to ensure our quality of life.  We have addressed financial issues during the pandemic, public safety with the rise in crime across the country, environmental protection, and we continue to examine development or redevelopment in the city consistent with our Comprehensive Plan and values.  It is time for us to affirm what we value, how we support our vision and the leadership we need to get there.

Never has it been more important to elect to the City Council a person who can represent your voice; someone who will act only in the best interest of the Village and its bright future. I believe that I am capable of meeting that challenge and I look forward to the work ahead.

I want to protect the charm of our Village and discourage radical voices and notions that threatens the culture of the city.  We enjoy a unique way of life and meaning that unifies our residents with a sense of shared identity.  The overall goal of City Council is to ensure that we pay attention to the collective community values that make Greenwood Village a special place to live, work, or visit.  Our focus remains to be a responsive local government with a prioity of privding a hihg level of customer service throughout the organization consistent with citizen expectations.

I will work diligently to maintain  your trust in our municipal government. My leadership expertise and experience help me facilitate collaboration between elected officials and staff. The City Council needs to continue be transparent and accountable—willing to listen, research proposals, and make decisions that reflect the vision and expectations of our residents.
